Be a fashion Jean-ius

I'll be at the Metrocentre this weekend as The Style Team hosts another Style Pod event where we are offering free styling advice and consultations to all Metrocentre shoppers. Our theme for this Pod is Jean Genie! Book your free style consultation online and let us help you find the perfect pair of jeans and outfit to match! More details below!

Shoppers are invited to book their appointments in advance or on the day at www.jeangenie.uk.com to enjoy a one-to-one 30 minute consultation with the Jean Genie stylists who will ensure that they find the perfect jeans! Once shoppers have found their desired denim they will be given a unique styling card with product information so they can find exactly what they need from the stores.  Shoppers will also be treated to a complimentary £5 gift card for Metrocentre when they show proof of a purchase from their Jean Genie session. Statement Skirts

I mentioned in yesterday's post that I'm a little taken with statement skirts with white shirts at the minute, and I've found a few more inspirations for this. Not many white shirts in sight, but I really like the casual style tops these skirts have been teamed with, it gives a little more style inspiration don't you think?

Fashion Down Under

Did anyone keep up with Sydney Fashion Week? I was following a lot of the designers and style fashionistas online, I loved the behind the scenes pics, especially from Elin Kling and designer label Zimmerman. Below I've added a few 'wishlist' outfits of mine.

Bec & Bridge with gorgeous shorts suits and prints.

Powerful colours at Oroton. I'm a big fan of shirt-dresses, they're easy to dress up or dress down, the tan accessories create a perfectly laidback look with this one.

Roopa Pemmaraju. I'm loving statement skirts with white shirts at the minute. So easy to wear and it looks so classic. I'm opting for more colourful skirts but the white works perfectly too as it has the detail trimming the hem.

Zimmerman do dresses with an elegant silhouette and edgy print, what a wonderful way to stand out at Ladies Day at the Races?
