Let your feet do the talking

Sometimes all you need is a fabulous pair of shoes to make an outfit.  (Sometimes all is you need is a fabulous pair of shoes!)  Whatever the occasion, if you don’t have time to plan an outfit for a party or for work, showing up in simple jeans and a tee (or trousers and a shirt) is perfectly acceptable when you’re wearing a stunning pair of shoes.  Here’s how to let your feet do the talking.

1. Keep your outfit neutral.  You want the shoes to be the focus so choose to wear a colour that won’t draw attention away from them.  I always find navy and white the perfect combination for this.

2. Choose a simple cut.  Clean lines and soft edges in your outfit will create a minimalistic look on top so all eyes are drawn to the shoes.  Avoid fussy frills and detailing, unless it’s on the shoes.

3. Set your budget then take your pick from these beauties below.
